Fixed a problem with duplicate entries in the overall view for results with very long names (like the current LHC WUs).
Version 1.50
Added support for the sulphur application of CPDN and the albert application of Einstein@home. Please note that the albert application doesn't calculate coincidences and therefore BoincLogX can not report them for viewing in SETI@home-MapView.
The colored tray notification now has a different meaning. It will now enter yellow or red alert mode whenever the total processing time left for one client drops below certain values. These values are adjustable in the setup of BoincLogX.
BoincLogX can now play different sounds for different situations. In addition to the sound which gets played if a cache gets empty, sounds can now be played whenever a new WU has been downloaded or finished or when one of the clients gets into yellow or red alert mode.
Instead of playing wav files with your sound card, you can now specify sound patterns which will be played with the internal speaker of the PC if you're using Win2k or WinXP.
The overall view now additionally shows the long term debt (LTD) of all projects.
Many minor changes.
Version 1.45
Fixed a major bug which prevented detailed project-specific log files from being written in cases where the scheduler is called immediatly after finishing a WU.
Improved support for non cpu intensive projects (like crashcollection or resourcemeasurement).
Disabled the "recalculate progress" feature for enhanced seti WUs.
The duration correction factor of BOINC v4.7x is now taken into consideration for time calculations.
Fixed display problems for WUs with very long names (like the current LHC WUs).
Some minor changes.
Version 1.42
Many minor changes and bugfixes.
Version 1.41 (beta)
Time left will now be shown even if passed time is zero.
Time left will now be shown even if progress is 100% or higher (BoincLogX will show 1 second left in this case).
Removed unnecessary fractional parts from all WU log files.
Added deadline column to all WU log files.
Some minor changes.
Version 1.40 (beta)
Added overall view feature which can be displayed using "Show overall view" in the menu of BoincLogX.
Time left will now be shown even if progress is zero.
Many minor changes and bugfixes.
Version 1.32 (beta)
Some minor changes and bugfixes.
Version 1.31 (beta)
Added the missing unzdll.dll, which is necessary to extract the Einstein@home results, to the setup.
Some minor changes.
Version 1.30 (beta)
BoincLogX now creates detailed log files for Einstein@home workunits and results.
Changed the way the activity state is determined. Instead of testing the lockfiles BoincLogX now uses the time passed since last update to determine the activity state. This has two big advantages:
Using the lockfiles sometimes took more than 30 seconds per active slot on network drives. The new way is much faster.
If you've set up BOINC to leave applications in memory while switching between projects, the old method showed all in-memory applications as active. The new method now shows which one is really active.
If "Backup workunits" is enabled, the complete workunit XML structure is now saved instead of only the command line.
Some minor changes.
Version 1.22
In the monitoring display you can now choose how to sort the entries:
By Host.
By Project.
By Progress.
By Time left.
Added synonyms.ini to configure synonyms for hosts, projects and application names in the history display.
BoincLogX now supports the old 1-detector WUs and the new 2-detector WUs of Einstein@home.
Some minor changes.
Version 1.21
Added some filter options for the history display.
History functions are now implemented into the boinclogx.exe instead of the seperate history.exe.
Added additional display information for Einstein@home workunits:
Detector name.
Detector frequency.
Highest F-statistic score.
Count of F-statistic result entries.
Outfile size.
Some minor changes.
Version 1.20 (beta)
Most work of BoincLogX is now done in a separate worker thread to avoid user interruption.
You can now switch between the normal view and a compact view of the monitoring display.
The height of the monitoring display can now be adjusted if the option "center display" is disabled.
The slots are now always brought into the right order.
Checkpoints are now stored together with basic project information to avoid using project references in some cases.
Drawing of the monitoring display is now done in a more elegant way.
You can now temporary disable BOINC directories in the setup of BoincLogX without having to remove them completly.
The history now shows the latest entries on the top.
Project statistics habe been added to the history display.
Some minor changes.
Version 1.12
Fixed a large memory leak.
Some minor bug fixes.
Version 1.11
Fixed a bug which sometimes caused an empty monitoring display.
Some minor changes.
Version 1.10 (beta)
Added new project independend logfile "boinc.csv" which can be displayed using "Show history" in the menu of BoincLogX.
Moved "error_txt" column from the WU logfiles to the new project independend logfile.
The activity state of the clients is now measured using a BOINC v4.x way which works for every BOINC application and not just for SETI@home only.
BoincLogX can now handle the time-slicing feature of BOINC v4.x.
Deselecting the backup options now works as supposed to.
The backup feature now supports WUs and results which consists of multiple files.
BoincLogX now shows basic state information for the climateprediction.net application.
Improved support for multi-project installations of BOINC.
Many minor changes and improvements.
Version 1.06 (beta)
The new "recalculate progress" option will force BoincLogX to recalculate the progress to fix incorrect progress display of the SETI@home application.
The monitoring display now shows the activity state of the clients.
Added "error_txt" column to the WU logfiles.
Improved support for multi-project installations of BOINC.
Some minor changes.
Version 1.05 (beta)
Improved compatibility with BOINC SETI@home Client v3.07.
The monitoring display now shows the angle range (AR), too.
Some minor changes.
Version 1.04 (beta)
Added mechanism to prevent loosing WU information when the scheduler is called immediatly after finishing a WU.
The colored tray notification now has three different states (green: all caches are filled, yellow: at least one client is processing its last WU, red: one of the caches is empty).
Fixed a bug which broke the CSV builder and parser since BOINC Core Client v3.04.
Duplicate logging of a WU is now prevented by using a memory table instead of unnecessary parsing the log files multiple times.
In the settings of BoincLogX, you can now choose if the monitoring display should always be centered on the screen or if it should remember its previous position.
Reduced memory usage while hiding the monitoring display.
Fixed a small memory leak.
